When I was 24, I was a film and theater director in Melbourne, Australia. One night, I experienced a spontaneous spiritual awakening, followed by several supernatural experiences that forever transformed my life.
Yes, this is another one of those stories about a spiritual teacher who had a sudden life-changing supernatural spiritual awakening. I get they’re a dime a dozen. But I think these stories are so common for a reason – because they actually do happen. It really happened to me.
But I’m not here to talk about me. I want to explain how that can happen to you.
The deepest, most core, and most ancient of all mystical traditions was that of the Kabbalists and the Chassidic masters.
For 4,000 years, they practiced and taught a master-key that unlocks the full power of human consciousness and potential. Not just another meditation technique or trauma-healing modality, but a comprehensive system—a technology of the mind—that predicted and surpassed even today's most advanced modalities and research.
However, this most sacred of humanities tools for healing and spiritual development was never made public. Until today.
Permission has now been granted. The gates are open.
At the heart of this system lies a single word – the very focus and goal of the model and what they believed was the purpose of life itself. The word is “Deveikus.”
DEVEIKUS
noun | de·vei·kus | \ də-ˈvā-kəs \
Definition: A transcendent state of being, where one’s consciousness is aware, connected and immersed in the Divine. Achieved through the process or condition of unifying one’s lower mind with one’s higher mind and divine nature. Resulting in profound access to inner healing, transformation, higher guidance and intelligence. Traditionally accessed through meditation, prayer, or sacred action in flow state, with channeled energy and intention.
The Masters taught that Deveikus wasn’t just something that happened by chance, but could be willfully accessed at any time. Most remarkably, they claimed it wasn’t just an experience for the great masters, but in our generation it would be accessible to every one of us, too.

To begin, I first need you to understand three things:
1. YOUR STATE OF MIND DETERMINES THE STATE OF YOUR LIFE
The secret of human consciousness is that it’s hierarchical—some parts are revealed, while others are concealed. You can spend a lifetime trying to overcome fears, find motivation, prove your worthiness, fix the brokenness of our everyday ego-mind (what the mystics call Daas Tachton—the “Lower Self”). However, concealed above that is a more subtle field of awareness with entirely different gifts and abilities—which is already whole, healed, illuminated, and complete. This is the true you.
We spend our lives endlessly seeking love or approval from our parents, spouses, friends on social media, from that father who was never there enough and abandoned me… but it’s never enough.
We spend our life trying to fill the void but it’s never enough.
We blame everyone outside us but fail the whole time to realize that the solution is within. That we already have access to all the love and more, right here and now, from the Source of love itself. Learning how to do this, to source our deepest need for connection within, is the very mitzvah of deveikus itself.
The realization that we already have access to so much love, so much light, approval, acceptance, resources, abundance, safety and support—we just need for a moment to rise above our identity of lacking and victimhood to remember and re-experience it all. In its true power and splendor.
